The real estate sector has expanded rapidly in recent years. At the same time, new legislation affecting the real estate professions has come into force, notably the law of July 9, 2004, which radically altered the conditions for setting up in this sector.

In addition, legal problems have arisen – notably with regard to the status of real estate agents – which have given rise to abundant and sometimes contradictory case law. However, no work has yet been devoted to these recent developments. This book aims to fill the gap.
